What are your brokerage rates?

We offer transparent brokerage rates, with no hidden fees or charges. You can open your Invest Direct account free of charge and there are no ongoing subscription or account fees for New Zealand and Australian listed stocks.

To access our best rates, you’ll need to top up your cash account with cleared funds before placing your order.

Once your deposit has been received, the funds must be swept into your cash account to receive the cash account (pre-funded) rate. This means your funds need to be both received and allocated to your account prior to trading in order to qualify for the discounted rate.

We run payment sweeps from our bank account each day at approximately 9am, 1pm, and 3pm. Once your deposit reaches our account, it will be picked up in one of these sweeps and applied to your cash account as soon as possible. However, as we are dependent on bank processing times, we cannot guarantee which sweep your deposit will be picked up in.
