Your Trading Account and Cash Account

For you, in the Wallet screen, you will see a trading account and a cash account.

Your trading account holds balances that are being used to transact. Usually, these funds will be sell orders that haven't settled, or funds reserved for a buy order. Settlement takes at least two business days for both buys and sells. This is standard for all markets and brokers. You cannot withdraw funds in your trading balance.

Once the shares settle, (usually around midday 2 business days following the transaction) you will see the balance move from the trading account to the cash account.

From the cash account, you can click 'withdraw' in the top right and you can select your nominated bank account.
